Ensure the surface is clean, smooth, and dry.

1. Cut Out the Decal
   Carefully cut as close to the edges as possible using a sharp hobby knife.
2. Wet the Decal
   Dip the decal in water for 1 second or place a drop of water on it. Do not leave it floating. Wait for the decal to loosen from the backing paper.
3. Position the Decal
   Use a soft brush to slide the decal off the backing paper and onto the surface. Position, smooth out gently, and remove bubbles. Let it set; dab off excess water if needed.
4. (Optional but recommended) Apply Decal Softener
   Lightly brush on decal softener to help it conform to curves, edges, and textures. Avoid touching while it’s soft; allow to dry completely (at least 30 minutes). (e.g. Micro Set or Micro Sol all work well.)
5. Seal with Matte Varnish
   Once fully dry, apply a clear matte varnish to protect the decal and blend it into the surface.

Decal softener is optional. The thin film of ImpatientTabletop decals can adhere well without it, but using a softener will help the decal follow contours even better, improve adhesion, reduce trapped air bubbles, and make the decal blend more seamlessly into the surface.

These decals have been tested with various decal softeners, including Micro Set, Micro Sol, and Greenstuffworld’s products.

We print in the CMYK color space - which means pretty much any color you need can be printed with the exception of "noen" tones. All decals are printed on transparent film with opaque colors, including white.

Yes, metallic prints are available. I currently offer Gold, Silver, Bronze, Red, Purple, Green, and Blue metallic finishes.
Please note that metallics can’t be combined with standard colors on the same sheet because they require a different printing process. In most cases, customers who choose metallics prefer their entire design in that finish.

All decal sheets in store are A6 format by default. We can also produce A4 sheets on request — all sheets are created, quality controlled and printed in-house.

One A4 sheet is equivalent to four A6 sheets, and pricing is adjusted accordingly.

A4: 210 × 297 mm (8.27 × 11.69 inches)
A6: 105 × 148 mm (4.13 × 5.83 inches)

The number of decals that fit a standard sheet depends on the decal sizes and the sheet format.

A good rule of thumb is one sheet will hold a bit over 100 decals, which will provide enough to cover most small to medium armies.

For example, most standard decals for Space Marines are 4-7mm for intantry and 9-20mm for vehicles , so a single A6 sheet will hold 116 decals.

Yes. Airbrush stencils are made from self-adhesive vinyl, allowing them to stick securely to your model and be removed and reapplied multiple times. However, note that with repeated use and over time, the adhesive properties may gradually diminish.

• Some items allow custom text insertion or replacement, this will be clearly indicated in the store; use the personalization field in the store if available.

• Small tweaks that don’t affect overall layout (e.g., replacing a row) are covered by the “on-demand” store item.

• Major layout changes or fully new designs require a “Full Custom” sheet.

All prices are flat and as shown in store. There are no hidden costs. If your custom request goes beyond the scope of work covered by flat price, we will of course let you know upfront, so there are no surprises. We will proceed only with your approval.
